- Maekita Miyako profileBorn in Tokyo in 1963, she is the representative of Sustena, advertising media creative agency for environmental NGOs, as well as the manager of advertising creative work, copy writer, and CM planner, who has been working on NGO advertising since 1994. Awards:“NOWAR peace coloring cards” (1997), “Candle Night”have lead to the NYTDC award, Tokyo TDC award, Runner-Up for Dentsu Advertising Awawrd, Nikkei “Popular Advertisement,”GOOD DESIGN AWARD, etc. She is also the editor in chief of the ecological lifestyle magazine,“ecocolo,” supervising editor for “ecocolo TV” in the TV-ASAHI program “Earth - A Wonderful Spaceship,” and has received various awards such as Runner-Up for Dentsu Advertising Awawrd for the “NOWAR peace coloring cards” newspaper ad. She is also the promoter for “Candle Night,” Committee member of “Hottokenai” campaign 2005, and her recent projects are “Food Mileage Campaign”and “Respect 3R,” and her publications are “Eco Shift”(Kodansha Gendai Shinsho), “Turn Off Lights for a Slow Night”(Editor/Makino Shuppan), “Candle Night”(Editor/Blue Orange Stadium), “30 Ways to End Poverty”(Editor/Godo-shuppan Corporation Ltd.).
